Janet M. Bajec, age 79 of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013. She was born to the late Wilbur A. and Ann R. (Marhefka) Thomas on July 8, 1933 in Cleveland. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife; an avid gardener, a passionate dog lover and supporter of animal welfare organizations. Janet was preceded in death by her son, Toby. She is survived by her husband, Joseph (Bob), her daughters, Lynne Bajec of University Heights, Judy (Chad) Barrie of Dublin, Jill Campbell of Columbus and Mary Gaffney of Rehoboth Beach, DE; her grandchildren who adored her, Dylan, Ian and Sarah; and her sisters, JoAnn (Bill) Rogers and Jean (Paul) Storm. The family will welcome friends and family to visiting hours at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8 at Hilliard-Rospert, followed by Interment at the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Medina County SPCA, 245 S. Medina St., Medina, OH 44256, or an animal welfare agency of the donor’s choice.
