Lola Mae Dennison, 99, of Wadsworth, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012. She was born on July 6, 1912 in Creston, OH to the late Edward and Minnie Bowman.
Mrs. Dennison was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, was retired from the Wadsworth City Schools, having worked in the school cafeteria. She was a former employee of Pine Valley Golf Course, was a former member of the Wadsworth Senior Center, and a former member of the Grandmothers Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leo, son Terry Dennison, 2 brothers Bob and Max, 4 sisters Madge, Margarite, Agnes, and Gladys.
Mrs. Dennison is survived by her son and daughter in law Jim and Sue Dennison of Norton, and daughter in law Sandra Dennison of Akron. There are 8 grandchildren, Denise (Mike) Morrow, Jim (Lisa) Dennison, Greg (Ann) Dennison, Matt (Beth) Dennison, Tara (Dan) Martin, Brian Dennison, Scott (Erin) Dennison and Michael Dennison, as well as 14 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, from 11AM-1PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174. N. Lyman St, Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM with Reverend Daniel Doty officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
